Engaging lessons with agricultural labels for grades 3-5

Engage in nationally field-tested, inquiry-based lessons that teach sustainability and agricultural literacy across the curriculum using agricultural labels! The lessons are part of a developing resource guide for teachers that use the 5-E Model lesson plan format. In this workshop, you will experience selected demonstration lessons that are easy to implement into your classroom. The research team will facilitate the workshop that brings teaching experience in elementary through graduate school. The materials are aligned with the National Agricultural Literacy Outcomes, National Science Standards, and Next Generation Science Standards.
