Full STEAM Ahead with Ag!
Become an agricultural engineer in this cross-curricular workshop that will provide participants with hands-on lessons that use agriculture to demonstrate elementary math, science and engineering concepts. Opportunities for problem-based learning scenarios abound on the farm and this session’s activities will strengthen students’ critical thinking skills as well as their knowledge of agriculture. From designing facilities for livestock to maximizing crop efficiency, these activities will make your students mini-engineers, ready to use math and science to solve real-world problems.
