Practical Indoor Gardening Techniques

This workshop introduces the Alaska Ag in the Classroom’s "Alaska Indoor Gardening Curriculum", specifically interdisciplinary methods including STEM to teach simple inexpensive but effective techniques for indoor gardening in classrooms. Alaska AITC began this program to meet the needs of the growing interest in Alaska to use alternative growing methods such as hydroponics, aquaponics, vertical farming, container, and biomass fueled greenhouses. We will discuss methods and our experiences with the project.
