Presentation will cover One Voice's definition of recovery; "A state of wellness that is better than the state you were in before," with an emphasis on Harm reduction as a valid pathway of recovery which results in overall improvements in health and wellness.
Presenter: Patrick Rezac
Patrick Rezac is the founder and Executive Director of One Voice Recovery. One Voice provides Recovery Empowerment and Disease Prevention services throughout the state of Utah. Patrick has over 18 years of experience working in many diverse settings within social services. Patrick has presented about many topics related to disease prevention, addiction recovery and harm reduction, and most recently his co-authored work was published to appear in the North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology, 2018 and he is co-presenting at the 2018 National Harm Reduction Conference in New Orleans, October 2018.
