Conductive ERS-technology from Elways ready for public road in Sweden
Elways AB started off from scratch in 2010 with the development of a new, conductive, ERS-technology. Since 2013,they have been the key player in the eRoadArlanda project, which is a pre-commercial public procurement initiative that is mainly financed by the Swedish Road Agency.
The technology from Elways is based on conductive electrical feeding from the road and can be used for both heavy and light vehicles, such as cars, trucks and buses.
In December 2017,the civil works for the construction of an public electric road with a distance of 2 km, using Elways technology, was finalized.
