Using 3D Printers in Agriculture Design
Teachers will learn an innovative way to integrate 3D printers in their classrooms. In this workshop, teachers will see how to use a CAD program to create a design that can then be sent to a 3D printer.
In the unit that will be shared, students will begin by picking a commodity specific to their state. Then they will research the necessities to have a productive farm for that commodity. After research, students will create a book that demonstrates their understanding of a productive farm. The culminating activity will be to design their 3D farm in TinkerCad.
