I am a member of the Indiana Women's Leadership Committee. I have been an AITC volunteer for over 30 years. I was a preschool teacher for 27 years and a substitute teacher for 15 years. I absolutely love teaching and view every opportunity to share my enthusiasm for education with great anticipation. We farm 2700 acres of corn, wheat and soybeans and had hogs for 30 years. I am a farmer! I am the mother of two successful girls who have blessed me with 4 grandchildren, 2 girls and 2 boys. I would consider it an honor to present at the UTAH ATIC conference.

Jan is a retired registered nurse who farms with her husband in NW Indiana. They raise corn, wheat, soybeans, hay, goats and chickens. She is a wonderful co presenter who adds her own style of wit and wisdom to Exploration Station. She has attended NAITC before, in Little Rock, and is eager to share the excitement of science exploration as it relates to food. This presentation debuted at the Indiana State Fair in August 2019 and was met with a well received positive response.
