Practical Application of Mind Body Bridging skills in clinical practice: Identifying and Breaking Through Barriers.
Do you ever find yourself saying “Mbb works really great with _______ clients/situations but not with _______clients/situations.” Would you like to collaborate with other MBB professionals and discover new ideas of how to break those barriers to implementing MBB into other aspects of your clinical practice? Using the skills of MBB, you will identify the areas in which you are feeling “stuck” in applying MBB into your clinical practice. You will experience the skills of MBB from a practicing clinician as an example for implementation of the MBB skills. As a group you, will discuss your barriers to implementing MBB skills and Collaborate with other MBB clinicians to discuss creative ways to apply MBB skills into your current practice.
- Identify current barriers to applying Mind Body Bridging skills into clinical practice
- Collect three new strategies to help apply Mind Body Bridging skills into clinical practice
- Collaborate and share with other professionals current successful application of Mind Body Bridging skills

Niki Olsen has worked in various capacities as a Mental Health Therapist over the past 12 years. She currently works for Utah Navajo Health System as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist in Blanding, UT. Niki is certified in Mind Body Bridging and uses this therapy modality on a regular basis with her clientele. She has been able to apply these techniques with Adults, Children, Families, and Couples. She uses the techniques to address Reactive Attachment Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse.
