How Google Taught Us the "Why" of MTSS: ASurprising Relationship Between Google and StudentSupports
In 2012, Google — one of the most public proselytizers of how studying workers can transform productivity — became focused on building the perfect team. In the last decade, the tech giant has spent untold millions of dollars measuring nearly every aspect of its employees’ lives. Google’s People Operations department has scrutinized everything about their employees on the quest to build the perfect team. Code-named "Project Aristotle, Google set out to study hundreds of Google’s teams and figure out why some stumbled while others soared. What they found has surprising and profound applications for schools, MTSS systems, and student success.
- Participants will discuss their current understanding of MTSS
- Participants will learn about Google's research on effective teams
- Participants will apply their new understanding to their own context
