Slaying the two-headed monster: Dealing with Drug Addiction and Mental Illness in Mental Health Courts.
Judge Allen will review the current research on treating a dual diagnosis of addiction and a mental illness and his own efforts with helping his Mental Health Court participants deal with both, including the innovative efforts of combining Drug Court and Mental Health Court participants.
