OEM Direction on Wireless Charging Implementation

SAE has been in development of the J2954 Recommended Practice for six years. As this interoperability direction nears completion, automakers are focused on production direction to manufacture practical products that will function in home and public applications. Still in development is the controls standard, which will allow automated charging at any J2954 station, regardless of ground assembly manufacturer. This interoperability focus is a key requirement/direction for all OEMs.
