Near-Census, Big Data River Monitoring For the 21st Century

River scientists, managers, and engineers are increasingly working with 1-m scale point clouds of remotely sensed Earth surface data collected using many different technologies. In addition, numerical models of physical processes and ecological functions are increasingly integrated and complex. This presentation will explore how we use 21st century data and models to answer the essential management questions, such as whether river systems are in good condition and wild species have sustainable populations.
