Review of the causes of America's Opioid Epidemic
I will review the beliefs and habits that caused the opioid epidemic in the early 2000s, as well as the basic medical studies that delineate how quickly opioids become addicting and what have been the overall changes to Americans' health as a result of the opioid epidemic. I will also review current opioid use disorder treatment options and what habits and policies I think will need to change to reverse the opioid epidemic.
