Growing Minds -NEH Farms Northeast Hamilton Elementary

My presentation will show how we incorporate agriculture literacy across all of our curriculum and how we integrate it to meet current standards. I will give examples of many valuable resources available to educators. Videos, photos, and actual projects done by our students will be shown on a variety of topics. Current projects here at NEH Elementary are school garden, elementary greenhouse, hydroponics, aquaponics, classroom observation bee hive, incubate and raise chickens and turkeys, and solar and wind energy. This has been a popular presentation to other school districts and community groups.
