Journey 2050 is a free, STEM program that engages Gr 7-12 in discussions about feeding the world. Written by teachers, for teachers, this program can be completed in 6 hours. Everything is provided. The program features a virtual farm game and career avatar. Download Journey 2050 from the iTunes, Windows or Google Play Store before the workshop if possible. Lisa Gaskalla is executive director of National Agriculture in the Classroom, a post she has held since January 2017. Before that, she worked as executive director of Florida Agriculture in the Classroom for 13 years, as executive director of Polk County Farm Bureau for four years and public relations manager for Florida Citrus Mutual. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Florida and worked as a newspaper reporter for 13 years before going to work from the agriculture industry in Florida.
