The Earth's Land and Water: How much do we REALLY have?

Everyone knows that land and water are our two main natural resources. But do you and your students realize just how precious these are and how little of the total land and water are actually available for our use? Through the use of two simple experiments from the Curriculum Matrix, your students will appreciate the importance of being good stewards who protect the land and water for future generations so that farmers can feed the expected almost 10 billion people on Earth by 2050.
