Fabulous Farms: Bringing Agriculture Into The Primary Classroom
This presentation will feature a variety of ways to bring agriculture and farming into the primary classroom. Join us as we explore hatching eggs, building chicken playground equipment, creating a Story Walk about corn, hosting a Farm Day and much more. Make your farm unit come alive with fresh and engaging activities that capitalize on youngsters’ natural curiosity about their world. Participants will leave with handouts highlighting activities and standards-based lessons centered on agriculture and the farm.
