Show Me Agriculture Using Books and Projects
This workshop will show a variety of books and projects used in the classroom that can inform students of the importance of agriculture in their daily lives in a fun yet meaningful way. Show Me Agriculture becomes a hands on learning experience for you that you can take back to your students.

Mary Zumwalt was raised on a grain and livestock farm and has been teaching Ag in the Classroom since 1995 when she attended her first Summer Ag Institute. She combines her two loves, agriculture and teaching, to inspire her students to realize agriculture is important in their daily lives. She currently teaches 4th grade at Altamont Lutheran School in Altamont, Illinois and enjoys learning more about incorporating Ag in the Classroom at Summer Ag Institutes and National Conferences. She is the proud parent of three grown children and five grandsons.
