AgExplorer-Find Your Future in Agriculture

Looking for an interactive resource to educate students about careers in agriculture? Come learn about AgExplorer; which is a new online tool featuring 235 unique careers in agriculture. Developed through partnership between the National FFA Organization, Discovery Education, and AgCareers.com, this relevant resource can be used in STEM subject areas with students of various ages and learning levels. Bring your electronic devices as we will navigate through videos, career assessments, and archived virtual field trips! Learn about ways to integrate this unique tool to help students find their futures in agriculture.

Ambra Tennery (), National FFA Organization, atennery@ffa.org;
Ambra Tennery is an advocate for providing all students with the opportunity to succeed through personalized experiences. As Team Leader for the Educational Development and Evaluation team at the National FFA Organization, she collaborates in deploying innovative and engaging mission-based resources for students and teachers across the country. Most recently, Ambra led cross-divisional teams on ideating and delivering the FFA mission while preparing students for career success through the online platforms: AgExplorer and My Journey. Ambra has worked for the National FFA Organization for five years and previously as an agricultural education teacher. Due to her experiences within the classroom, Ambra has led various strategic initiatives involving educational relevancy, diversity and inclusion, and agricultural literacy and advocacy during her time at the National FFA Organization. Ambra earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from Purdue University and Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.
