Presenters/Authors

Frances Miller (), Louisiana AITC, mommy2jcj3@gmail.com;
Frances Miller is a public school Pre-K teacher with 23 years experience. She has been a member of the Louisiana Ag in the Classroom committee since 2008. She was chosen as the state Teacher of the Year in 2008. Raised on a rice and cattle farm in south Louisiana, agriculture has been an important part of her life since she was a child. Bringing agriculture into the lives of her four year old students also brings it to their parents. She has been married for 37 years and although she and her husband do not farm, they live on the farm she was raised on. Along with her brother, they participate on the decisions made for the farm. Her three children, four grandchildren and her brother also live on the 240 acre family farm.
