Nickolas Zaller (), NDZaller@uams.edu;
Dr. Zaller is an Associate Professor in the College of Public Health, Department of Health Behavior and Health Education. He has been conducting substance use related research for more than a decade, with a particular emphasis on the criminal justice system. Following the completion of his PhD training at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Dr. Zaller completed a two-year NIH-sponsored clinical research training program and stayed on as faculty in the School of Medicine at Brown University until 2014. Since 2014, Dr. Zaller has been faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Public Health where he is currently conducting studies related to opioid overdose prevention, HIV risk and substance use among jail detainees, and use of interventions to deliver behavioral health treatment in rural areas.
