Farmers are Consumers, too (telling ag's story to the non-ag consumer)
Research shows that sharing common values is the most important thing we, as agriculturists, can do to convey our message about agriculture. This workshop will help you share your knowledge about ag to an expanded group...parents, co-workers and friends...as we look at research and talk about real-life experiences.

Linda Olson is an Illinois farmer's wife and a Colorado rancher's granddaughter who appreciates her agrarian heritage. She is an advocate for telling the farmer's story in an authentic, accurate way that builds bridges and trust.
She has been Illinois Farm Bureau's
Consumer Communications Specialist for 5 years, working with the Illinois Farm Families' Chicago City Mom tours and promoting consumer outreach within the 96 county farm bureaus in Illinois.
