CMV 101: What is Congenital CMV? Why is it Important? How Can it be Prevented?

This session is designed to be an overview of Congenital CMV. The presenter will cover basic information about transmission, prevention, prevalence, treatment, and intervention.

  • Identify two updates on reducing impact of congenital CMV
  • Describe Maternal CMV infection during pregnancy
  • List two efforts being made to increase awareness of cCMV
