Why? BEE Cause we need them!

My presentation we be an overview of our yearlong Honeybee unit that I use with my 4th-6th grade Science classes. An observation beehive is the center of all the action as we learn about the lifecycle of bees, their importance to our agriculture system, and the concern of their health and future due to chemical use, pests, and disease. I have been working with the Iowa Honey Producers and local bee clubs to educate everyone on the importance of the honeybee. Classroom video, handouts, and observation hive will all be part of presentation.
