Digging Deeper into Vermicomposting

We will demonstrate how to make your own worm bin which will serve as a basis for investigations about ecosystems, life and nutrient cycles, and decomposition. The worms and castings from the worm bin can be used to engage students in a wide variety of investigations. We will share the Lesson Plan from NAITC titled, Vermicomposting. At the end of the Workshop, we will raffle off a worm bin for one lucky winner to use in their school!
