Betsy Meynardie is the director of Training, Products, and Dissemination at the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. She coordinates the design, development, and dissemination of national outreach products and programs at the Clerc Center.
After receiving her master’s degree in school counseling from Gallaudet, Meynardie began her career at the Clerc Center’s Model Secondary School for the Deaf, developing and implementing proactive, student-centered programs in the Student Life department. She also coordinated professional development for Clerc Center teachers and staff before moving to national outreach work, designing, developing, and delivering workshops in literacy and social-emotional health. Meynardie has been doing national outreach work for over 15 years.
