What Kids Want to Know About Agriculture: Reevaluating the Farm Field Day Model
Annually thousands of children visit farms to learn more about agriculture. This workshop will reveal what kids know, want to know, and want to learn about on a farm field trip. Research-based best practices for effectively conducting a farm field day event to increase agricultural literacy will be shared, along with hands-on engagement activities to convey important agricultural concepts.
